The Fannypack: A New Trend?

fannypack.jpg fanny1.jpg
As I was web-surfing today, I came across a video that I can’t figure out if it was funny or just plain stupid so I thought I would share it. It was a video showing the Statue of Liberty wearing a fannypack along with a comedic reporter interviewing passers-by on the streets of New York City asking if the fannypack is a new fashion statement. As I think about it more and more, I have seen a variety of fannypacks such as the type shown in the picture above that was taken from the BabyPhat runway show. I am just curious to see if they will becoming back into style anytime soon. You be the judge for yourselves and check it out at http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2019310614

Alexa, I checked out that clip and I honestly hope that fanny packs are not coming back in style. I feel like people are always going to wear them but it does not make them stylish. They do have some cute one's out there but I don't think of them as the typical "fanny pack."
