FIT

I went to NYC this past week to visit FIT and check out the campus. I checked out my friend’s dorm and was surprised by the size. The surrounding apartments go for least $4,000 a month so the size and location is unbeatable. There were also guards outside of each building and the area seemed very safe. I was also told by a very picky eater that the food is excellent. My friend is enrolled in the one year advertising and public relations program. She is completing her internship and has already been offered a position in her field. The whole experience was very encouraging and if FIT seems like something that would be beneficial for your career path then you should consider the opportunity.

If you are planning to attend FIT I can tell you from experience, send your paperwork certified mail as they will tell you they do not have it. I completed an internship last summer with their internship center and I had a difficult time keeping in touch with FIT and keeping on top of my paperwork that I mailed to them. The campus is great, the security is great and they were helpful in trying to set me up with an internship but because we live in buffalo the location difference was hard for the registration process. Just a tip if anyone is planning on attending FIT in the future.

I find it funny how you can come away knowing how big an apartment dorm is and the food is great at FIT, is that all you got from your visit?
