Online Shopping

Online Shopping has becoming more and more popular. The numbers of online shoppers have been increasing every year. Personally, I think online shopping is a great and easy way to browse for merchandise and purchase them. In my experience, there is so much more merchandise and variety on the store’s website than in the actual store. For example, when I was at a Forever21 store, I couldn’t find anything that I liked. But, when I went to their website the next day, I found a lot of clothes that I really liked! So of course, I purchased the clothes on their online website. Also, one time my cousin went shopping at WetSeal to find a solid color babydoll tank top. She told me she couldn’t find any there. They were all paisley patterned tops, which she does not like. I told her that I saw a bunch of plain babydoll tops on the WetSeal website.
So, if you can’t find what you’re looking for at the store, then I suggest you to try browsing on the store’s website. Chances are they will have what you’re looking for!

Online shopping can also be very helpful for college students. Buying textbooks at the book store can cost up to $500 or more! That is way too much money for books. But, at websites like Half.com, Valorebooks.com, and Amazon.com, students can buy their books at really low prices. I had to buy a text book for my history class and it cost around $70 at the book store. I went to valorebooks.com and found the book for only $3! That definitely was a good deal!

I just love shopping, but when it comes to shopping ONLINE I’m very choosy and selective. Online shopping still in this age of internet is not so much secure. Be sure that you are getting what you are paying for. I think when one is about to buy something online no matter how big or small from clothing, shoes, and computer stuff to even new property he or she should consider these tips:

Please please please!! do Trust your instincts. If you are not feeling comfortable buying over the web, or if you feel pressured to place your order instantaneously, maybe you shouldn’t buy online.

You should always Double check pricing. Doesn’t matter if you are buying a new product or just a used one, be very suspicious of prices that are too good to be true.

Check very cautiously whether you may be paying too much for an item, especially if you’re bidding through an auction site.
I found out that sometimes online transaction perform very poorly or just don’t perform at all, so to avoid any problems in case of return or refund issues I highly recommend do check the company’s privacy, return/refund, shipping and handling policies before buying from them.
Do check if it is secure to pay now, different icons and software programs indicate that security software in place or not. Or some top security companies issue safety certificates to reliable online shopping stores, do look for them.
If you have checked the reputation of the online-store and satisfy with it, then best way to pay is credit card. Lots of security precautions are made these days by Credit Card issuing companies for better transactions online.
Just for your precautions, print out a copy of terms & conditions, warranties and the transaction confirmation email. It might help you in future.

Top of all do check the reputation of a company before buying. Shoes buying is also very tricky part of online shopping. If you are 100% confident about a company only then you should go for buying from them otherwise move to next site. Because most of the time online Shoes Sores just don’t send you proper size or brand as you might have selected during your transaction.

I hope these tips will help many to decide and shop safely online.
