Counterfeiters beware

Earlier this week in Manhattan a federal judge awarded Louis Vuitton more then $3.5 million due to the excessive amount of sales in counterfeit handbags. There are about three companies and many of these companies presidents that this suit was filed against. Although these companies are paying the price will other companies flee from this niche market? The smart person who thought about selling fake designer handbag to countless women who can’t afford the real thing, well maybe isn’t that smart. Next time you go to the city see if there are the same amounts of fake handbags throughout the city? Seriously I want to know?

wow. seems like there's a lot of counterfeit products around right now. They're everywhere.

Yeah, they are everywhere. A lot of foreign countries, especially China, will knock off any item. They even knock off ipods! Not sure how, but they do.

The self life of most fashion is the first year. After that, people will copy it, though they usually change it or evolve it a bit.
