Rehearsal

So we started rehearsal last night for Antigone, and it was great. I love sitting with the cast and discussing and reading, it’s the beginning of our new family. Our large 21 person family. It’s really something to see everyone sitting at the table. It makes me really excited for the process. I’m signed up for a practicum this semester, which is getting a credit for working on a show and I get to paint the set for Anigone. I love painting, I think it’s a riot. There has been so much going on this semester so far that it’s taken me a little bit longer to get back into the swing of things, but I think I’m getting back on track. The first show of the season Baltimore Waltz opens in a little over two weeks. I’m really excited, not only because the cast is three of my good friends but the play is interesting. We’re holding auditions today for our Directing class. We’re directing Doubt and I can’t wait to be sitting on the other side of the table. It’s going to be different and outrageous. Well that’s all from me for now. My brain keeps jumping around frantically if you couldn’t tell. :)
