Today I started to catalog all the comedies [Adult Swim] has produced. There is a pretty big amount so it will probably take me a couple weeks to complete. Besides that, I've had to watch episodes of cartoons that will air in a weeks or two and follow along with the scripts and alter the scripts if there is any dialogue change. There is always dialogue change because the voice actors improv A LOT. They also have me running errands two or three times a day to other buildings in the complex. That hasn't been too bad since the temperature here has been high 80's for most of the week.

I also love the fact that there is really no dress code. I just basically wear what I wore to school everyday. Shorts, my stupid/funny quote shirts, etc. I also like the fact that during the summer they have "summer fridays." This means that we get free bagels, cream cheese and pastries. We also get out at 3:00.

One of the perks that the interns at [Adult Swim] have is that we get to see all the shows a week or two before they're aired. We are also allowed to copy any show from their massive library for our own. In a way, me and the other intern are getting paid. They give us a lot of free merchandise, which is a plus. They usually always have something for us to do, as well. Otherwise I make my rounds every so often to see if anyone needs anything and whatnot.

I think the most exciting thing that has happened to me so far was that I was on the [Adult Swim] bumps Sunday night, May 31st. A "bump" is basically how [Adult Swim] talks to their viewers using just a black screen with white text. I was the first intern they talked about in their "Meet the Interns" summer session. I also heard we are the first group of interns they have done this for.
